Exit pupil
Check image brightness and practicality for a chosen eyepiece.
Do not use this result for solar viewing without a special-purpose filter secured over the front of the optics.
How the calculation works
An exit pupil larger than the eye may waste aperture; a very small pupil produces a dim view and emphasises imperfections.
